President and co-founder

Devin Martin

Devin leads Duneland’s financing strategy and capital relationships, working with buyers to determine how an acquisition can realistically be funded and which lenders or capital providers fit the deal.

Before Duneland he spent a decade building and selling technology companies, then moved into business brokering, where he saw the same pattern repeatedly: the deal was sound and the financing was not. He works with buyers on which financing route fits the deal in front of them, and he also leads capital markets at Rekord AG, working on private credit and real-world asset financing.

Experience

  • President of Duneland Financial since May 2024, leading capital relationships and deal structuring.
  • Head of Capital Markets at Rekord AG, working on private credit and real-world asset financing.
  • Co-founder and President of Osmos, a SaaS and app agency serving clients from startups to Fortune 500, 2021 to 2025.
  • Founder of Martin Ventures, a consulting and business brokering practice, 2019 to 2024.
  • Director of Business Development at SearchLab Chicago, 2017 to 2020.

Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer

Jeff Vacek

Jeff brings nearly two decades of experience buying, building and financing businesses and works across buyer strategy, underwriting and transaction execution.

He has built and sold companies across eCommerce, logistics and health products, and has co-founded a buy-side advisory practice that screens deals for whether they are fundable rather than merely available. That combination is the point: he has sat on both sides of an acquisition, as the operator being financed and as the advisor arranging it.

Experience

  • Co-founder and COO of Duneland Financial since December 2024, owning client engagement and lender relationships.
  • Co-founder of eCashflow Acquisitions, a buy-side advisory firm, since 2008.
  • Co-founder of US BioSolutions, a cleaning technology startup whose traction led to an IP merger with a public company.
  • Advisory Board member, Digital Media Program, University of Houston, since 2017.
  • Co-founder of iPrint and Ship, an eCommerce fulfillment and third-party logistics operation, 2018 to 2022.
  • Author of The New Masters of Online Marketing.
